"Last weekend was a delightful surprise. After a heavy few weeks, CJ reached out and asked if I wanted to join him for FireLight 🔥, an inaugural festival in the Mendocino Forest. A last minute festival seemed like a big lift, but my spirit felt really excited about this possibility. With CJ' love and support, I leaned in - and am so glad I did! New festivals can be a wildcard, but I was so impressed by this creation spearheaded by Philippe and Shams. The group that gathered felt safe and intentional. The container was strongly held through ritual and clear agreements. The venue was an adorable woodland full of playful magic and sweet potential. I didn't feel like the shiniest version of myself, but I received an abundance of admiration, love, and connection. My weekend was full of synchronistic moments, big exhales, and deep conversation. I'm still reminiscing the juicy times in the magical Redwoods, a place where I've been going for the past 12 years and lived for one. While I had a quiet start in the fest, I was grateful for the incremental surprises, subtle insights of witnessing my desires, fears, judgements, and joy, as I surrender to feel our collective connectedness, when we let go of the past and build something new. This was my 6th temple night, coming in with uncertainty and curiosity, and I felt more welcome in this group than previous temples—thanks to the care and leadership of ⁨Shams, ⁨Philippe⁩, and the team that made this happen (shout out to Infinity for leading the volunteers, Asherah⁩ for holding space as high priestess). I made love in the redwoods, fostered incredible new connections, nurtured new brotherhood, and I can't wait to explore more with you'all at the intersection of spirit, sex, magic, and art." ~Priyatam
